# First Parlay Refund

The first parlay refund program gives eligible users downside protection on their first parlay.

If your first parlay loses, ParlayIt may refund your stake up to **$10**.

## Who Is Eligible

The program is currently available to the first **200 eligible users**.

If you are eligible, you will see a green refund program banner in your **Portfolio**. The banner is shown before you place your first parlay and remains visible while that first parlay is in play.

## How The Refund Works

Only your first parlay is covered. If that parlay wins, there is no refund. If it loses, the refund is capped at **$10**.

Examples:

| First parlay stake |  If it loses |
| -----------------: | -----------: |
|                 $6 |  $6 refunded |
|                $10 | $10 refunded |
|                $25 | $10 refunded |

Refunds are processed within a few days after the covered parlay is resolved.

## Abuse Policy

Abuse of the program is not allowed. ParlayIt reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to deny refunds to users believed to have abused the program.

For example, if one person funds or controls multiple accounts to attempt a Sybil attack, those accounts may not be compensated, even if the parlays were lost.
