# Glossary

## Bridge

The system that moves funds between Polygon and ParlayIt.

## Finality

The point where a Polygon transaction is considered settled enough for the bridge to relay funds. ParlayIt currently waits about 3 minutes for Polygon finality.

## Leg

One selected market outcome inside a parlay.

## Market

A question with exactly two possible outcomes: YES and NO.

## NO

The outcome token that wins when the market question resolves false. For a parlay, the NO token wins when at least one selected leg loses.

## Orderbook

A liquidity model where users trade against existing bids and asks.

## Parlay

A combined position made from multiple market outcomes.

## Quote

The offered terms for a trade or parlay combination.

## Resolution

The process of determining which outcome won in a market.

## RFQ

Request-For-Quote. A pricing flow where the platform asks for a quote for a specific combination a user wants to trade.

## Settlement

The process that applies the resolved result to user positions.

## Share

A unit of exposure to a market outcome. A winning share can settle for $1.

## Slow Queue

The withdrawal queue used when instant processing capacity is exceeded. The current slow queue delay is 14 hours.

## YES

The outcome token that wins when the market question resolves true. For a parlay, the YES token wins only when every selected leg wins.
